Egyptian delegation inspects Dongying tire companies

Recently, He Zhongjun, Vice President of the Shandong Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met with a delegation composed of representatives from the Egyptian government and enterprises in Dongying City. Wang Xiufeng, Vice Mayor of Dongying City, also attended the meeting.

The Egyptian delegation conducted an in-depth survey of Dongying's tire and auto parts industry, visiting five well-known companies: Yongsheng, Xinyi, Xingyuan, Huasheng, and Huateng. During the visit, the delegation highly praised the scale, product quality, and technological level of Dongying's tire industry.

He Zhongjun stated that Shandong Province, as an important base for China's tire and auto parts industry, boasts numerous high-quality enterprises and a rich variety of products, with significant industrial advantages. In particular, Dongying City's tire industry holds substantial influence in both domestic and international markets. He expressed hope that enterprises from Egypt and Shandong could further strengthen cooperation to explore new market opportunities together.

The Egyptian delegation noted that Egypt is currently in a phase of rapid economic development and has a huge demand for high-quality tires and auto parts. They hope to deepen cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, technology transfer, and technical support to achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes. At the same time, they warmly welcome Shandong enterprises to invest and set up factories in Egypt, leveraging Egypt's geographical advantages and policy support to expand their influence in the African and Middle Eastern markets.

During this visit, both sides reached preliminary consensus on multiple areas of cooperation, laying a solid foundation for deeper future collaboration. Relevant personnel from the Trade and Investment Center of the Shandong Provincial CCPIT, Dongying CCPIT, Guangrao County Government, and Guangrao County CCPIT also participated in the related activities.

The Egyptian delegation's visit further deepened the economic and trade cooperation between China and Egypt, promising new development opportunities and collaborative spaces for enterprises from both countries.
