Bridgestone uses ENLITEN technology tires for the first time with a recycled material ratio of sixty-three percent

Bridgestone announced that it will use ENLITEN technology tires for the first time in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. These tires are made from up to 63% recycled renewable materials, including the use of recycled organic fibers, recycled carbon black, recycled rubber chemicals and more. Compared with the tires used in the 2019 competition, material recyclability has increased by 33%.

It is worth mentioning that specially customized tires made of rice husk silica and recycled carbon black recovered through the pyrolysis of old tires are used for the cruiser level teams in the competition.
