10 Chinese tire companies obtained DOT codes
According to foreign media reports, in 2023, the United States added DOT codes for 21 new tire factories. Among them, 10 are from China, 3 are from Vietnam, and 2 are from Cambodia. It is worth noting that both Cambodian factories were invested and built by Chinese companies.
One is the General Corporation Cambodia factory, and the other is the Double Star Tire Cambodia factory. Of the 10 new Chinese companies receiving codes, 6 are from Qingdao, Shandong Province. They are Qingdao Huilistone Tire Co., Ltd., Qingdao Ludatong Rubber Products Co., Ltd., Qingdao Shunquanlong Tire Co., Ltd., Qingdao Wanshishun Special Vehicle Co., Ltd., Qingdao Weiwok Tire Co., Ltd., and Qingdao Xiongxiang Rubber Co., Ltd. Additionally, there are 4 other companies, including Fujian Shaowu Zhengxing Wuyi Tire Co., Ltd., Hubei Jintian Tire Co., Ltd., Shandong Jisitong Tire Co., Ltd., and Shandong Xingda Tire Co., Ltd.
It is understood that DOT codes are issued by the US Department of Transportation to identify the original manufacturer information of tires sold in the United States.
